Also a few more options couldn’t hurt (the ability to change playback speed, loop time -infinite, reverse, palindrome-, an option to cycle through a folder of gif files) but overall its a good app as it stands. The option to have a background picture that frames the gif for example, or, better yet, the option to use gif files that have transparencies over your existing desktop wallpaper. The scalable option is nice, altho I wish that you could set the background (which frames the gif) to a picture, as of now you can only select colors, but really thats a minor nitpick. Windows doesnt support GIF animation as wallpaper, 3D animation, or video as the desktop background. After reading some of the reviews I was worried the gifs would be sluggish or stuttery, but after trying several (with a few resource intensive apps running - Photoshop, VLC, Transmission, Chrome, & Steam) I was pleasantly surprised to learn that was not the case.
